The beauty of this board is that it doesn't have one clogged forum (see Hipinion) and a bunch of category forums (see most boards). Simply 'Music' and 'Etc.' (where 'anything goes'). A formula that works.

Color bars has actually been around a while, but why he's choosing to assert himself like this as of late is beyond me.

I got addicted to fruit loops a couple weeks ago. I like them, but I still realize they suck.

Judge in Georgia Upholds Decision to Keep Harry Potter Books on School Shelves

A Superior Court Judge today upheld an earlier decision by school officials to keep the Harry Potter series on the shelves of Gwinnett County school libraries, despite the repeated attempts of a Georgia woman who seeks to have the novels banned. Laura Mallory appeared in court today in an appeal to have the books removed, stating before the hearing that she would go "as far as necessary to get the truth out." Personally, I don't think it's a good idea to raise a whole generation of witches," Mallory said. "I don't think it's good for our country."

After the hearing, reports state that Mrs Mallory "may now file a federal lawsuit."

Update: You can now see video of Laura Mallory during this hearing here, afterwards stating that she has not read the books in their entirety, but rather she "gets so disturbed" that she finds it "excruciatingly painful" to read them.

My youngest Sister-in-Law has started an Alpaca farm (yes, she does believe everything late night TV ads tell her) she is looking for a name for the farm and I'm trying to get her to allow the Intar Webs to pick the name. They list the farms alphabetically in the Alpaca Farm listings so something that starts with A is preferred (and she doesn't like AAA Alpacas), her name is Gina (No, she's not Aneg), and she lives in the Quad Cities area of Iowa. I'll give her a list of names in 2-3 hours.

If anything, try two buttons at once. It won't work either, but the programming nerd in me says it'd be more likely to work.

I devised a trick in college to steal other people's returned coins from the vending machines down the hall from my room. Not because I was broke; because I could.

I steal coins from my apartments drier. People put quarters in to the coin slot despite the fact we get FREE LAUNDRY. Their stupidity is my financial gain.
