I love Ted Leo and the Pharmacists and am jealous that HD got to see them this weekend. Oh yeah, this love is also only based on my reaction to one of their albums (ToD), but I definitely think its one of the best things I've heard in this decade.
"Tyranny" is really an amazing album.
As for the show, I was kind of disappointed in his set. There were like four new songs mixed in and I really thought they all sucked for the most part. They really managed to drag down the crowd's energy, too. But he did close with "Stove by a Whale" which was amazing. Overall, a good show. Not great, but good.

Yay! Celebrate by napping for lunch.

so i'm taking my morning crap here at work. as usual i bring my phone in with me and play 3d homerun king while on the pot. well i forgot to set my phone to vibrate due to the hurried attempt at getting a good stall(they are few and far between around here). so i got all ready and went to work while trying to knock one out of the park on my game. well..the first one dropped into the bowl with a pretty good sounding splash...at the same time i knocked one out of the park on my video game. not 2 seconds after the splashdown the crowd on 3d home run king gave a massive cheer that rang out through the bathroom which of course made the guy in the stall next to me start laughing his ass off. sorry but i thought it was pretty funny.
