Listening to Timbaland's album was a pretty huge disappointment considering how awesome some of his tracks for other people have been, so I want to make a compilation to restore my faith but I seem to be suffering long term memory loss. Obviously there's Missy, Aaliyah, Furtado, Timberlake, Jigga and a bunch of other really famous tracks, but anyone want to help jog my memory? Or any personal favourites that are maybe a bit more obscure?

Already had Aaliyah, Jay-Z and Tweet, will check out the Petey Pablo thanks. It's weird, seems like Tim's been this dominant figure over music over the past decade, but when I think about it I can only place a handful of tunes. And when you look at a production discography, not many ring a bell. Maybe his influence overshadows his actual input? Anyway, keep 'em coming folks!

The first Total album is CLASSIC. I was listening to it the other day for the first time in years... "Kissin' You" may be my fave 90s R&b ballad.

I know Aaliyah's been mentioned already, but 'One in a Million', 'Are U That Somebody' and 'Try Again' are so great they bear mentioning one mo' 'gain.
I was going to mention 'I Want U Back', by Mel B, but was surprised to learn he had nothing to do with that. What a surreally good song. 'Cry Me A River', then. It has the best Timb guest spot going, especially in the video when he's rubbing his hands and pulling bizarre faces. Also 'Ice Box' was oddly good.

'Ice Box' was Timbaland? I had no idea. What a good song.

I think the Neptunes have a lot more hidden gems that remain semi-undiscovered, just because those dudes were so much more mercenary about producing for anyone.

Probably, yeah. Like bizarre carny track 9s on NORE albums and prog-RnB on Kelis albums that got erased from existence.

I'm not an Aaliyah fangirl but "We Need A Resolution" is a hot track.
I wish I had musical talent and a lo of cash so Timbo could produce my record.

I endorse these, especially that Destiny's Child song.
Since it's looking like this comp. might be mostly bangers, may I suggest Timbaland and Magoo's "I'm Music"? It was the song that Timbo recorded with Beck, but their version didn't make the final cut of Indecent Proposal. It's like the greatest jam that Prince never wrote. I can't think of any other ones people might have missed because I'm so tired right now, but what's been mentioned already is crazy hot.
EDIT: Okay, just remembered Ms. Jade's "Jade's A Champ." That's the hidden gem you're looking for if there ever was one.

There's a frightening lack of Ginuwine in the thread. Was Aaliyah's "Rock the Boat" not produced by Tim? I love that song.
funny thing about Timbaland: he's a great producer and has produced a ton of good tracks and some of the best singles of the last 10/15 years, but if you really whittle it down, it's sort of surprising how few truly GREAT songs he's produced.

what about 'big head'
"Big Head" is good and all, but it's more like C-level Timbaland, which is B-level by anyone else's standards.
Oh, also there's "Up Jump Da Boogie" and "Here We Come", both including Magoo and Missy. But "Up Jumps Da Boogie" has got Aaliyah on it, so hmmm....
My personal favorite Timbo track is probably "Beep Me 911" by Missy.
Some other good ones
Aaliyah & DMX-Come Back In One Piece
Ginuwine-So Anxious, I'll Do Anything/I'm Sorry

there is timbaland overload on this board at the moment. his worst work is with penis nose and helium.
i was listening to some Bubba Sparrx, Tim was so awesome back then. Deliverance is an incredible album, and the one he did before that, wuith Ugly. Tim was GOAT then. he still good now but his ongs of late dont have much replay value.
