Well, I ain't above it.
Did anyone see Baldwin's apology on the View last week? It was the most hilariously uncomfortable 15 mins of live TV I've ever seen. What a giant, out-of-touch deuschbag. He never even apologized. Just made a string of veiled threats against the tabloids, Basinger, etc. And struggled to explain what a great relationship he has w/ his daughter. Barbara Walters was stunned silent. It was pretty special.
Hasselhoff? Eh. I make tapes that like that once a week.

more uncomfortable than michael richards' apology on letterman while jerry was a guest? that's gotta be hard to top.
Babawawa? Stunned silent? Nah. Methinks the ol' lady was dozing off. She was thisclose to doing that head nod and jerk I'm famous for on planes.
Awesome that Hasselhoff was shirtless 'cause, you know, he's The Hoff™. Dude couldn't keep his burger together, but he forged ahead, almost as if he meant to eat the top bun by its lonesome. Acting!

Thread has tremendous potential to go very, very wrong in a hurry. Good luck everyone.

I didn't see Baldwin on the view, but I have to say that I do feel somewhat sorry for him. I'm not defending him calling his daughter an ungrateful pig, but I think Kim Basinger has a lot more to do with the entire situation than she's copping to. My brother had a very nasty divorce - his kids were 8 and 4 at the time. His ex wife did everything possible to keep him from the kids. She would answer the phone and refuse to put the kids on. She blew off his visitation and told the kids that their father never bothered to come pick them up. She told the kids horrible stories (untrue ones, I might add) about their father. These situations were continually brought up in court, and all the judge would say was "stop doing that." No sanctions, no nothing, because she's the mom. Alec Baldwin is claiming "alienation of affection" which I can completely understand. You feel like there is nothing you can do, and you're losing contact with your children. It's incredibly frustrating, and seems to be pretty much ignored by the courts.
Just my 2 cents.

I don't even know what Baldwin did, so for me at least, it's lack of relevance to anything interesting or relevant for that matter doesn't really make it thread-worthy. And, if you are talking about that vid where Hasselhoff looks fucked up eating pizza: ditto.

I'd say "No," based on the threat of Kate Moss in the Ban Smoking Thread.

Here's the View "apology" . . . . .
Not sure why I even care about this, just feel the dude deserves as much shit for this as he does the original message.
