I don't know how I arrived at this list other than to think that ( ) will always be one of my favorite albums for conveying an incredible range of moods, Perfect From Now on will always be one of my favorite epic type of albums, Strangeways Here We Come was the first album I'd ever heard that made me fall in love with incredible vocals and lyrics, Ferment was the first album that had a major influence on my guitar playing style, and Ladies & Gentlemen will always be this album that leaves me in awe that someone makes the same kind of things I've heard in my head for too many years.
That part of "Made-Up Dreams" where Martsch is all "it takes a lot to make me crazy and a lot is always going on" just kills me its so damn potent.
