This is gonna be kind of a weird thread, but I think all music fans worth their salt have a band or a song that is a guilty pleasure but that they keep close to the vest because their friends would make fun of how "gay" it is.
Nothing at all wrong with gayness, but you know what I mean.
I like Wham!
There I said it.
Wham! was great fuckin pop music.
Now if youll excuse me, I have to rollerblade down to Chelsea for a taint exfoliation....

Gawd, like, half of what I listen to. First thing that springs to mind is "Gimme Love to Give" by the Ark. Hand-clapping, gay (in both senses), good time Swede pop.

But Alison Moyet is a girl, so that's OK (not a pretty one, but nonetheless...)
To hell with Wham, Frankie Goes To Hollywood is the way to go if you're gonna cum...er, go.
And Junior Senior.

great thread. it's pretty much how i've always described the music of belle and sebastian (not that it's really flamboyant or anything, but damn is it gay)

Pet Shop Boys + The Village People = pretty goddamn gay
Waylon is ok with that. In fact the only reason this is good is because it is so gay.

I haven't heard "Homosapien" in a long time, great song. That Hidden Cameras album is great too.

No video, but I must add the Aluminum Group. I loved Petals but some of their other material contained lyrics that'd make a straight, grown man blush.

"born to be alive" by patrick hernandez. it's in my top 30 singles of all-time.
also, "evapor8" by altern8 and assorted other old skool rave classics, dutch or otherwise. i can't get enough.

I once had a girl convinced I was gay because of my record collection. She kept shuffling through with this weird face and jokingly saying "Wow.... lots of Queen, huh...". I think that says more about her than it does about me. Pretty sure I'm not the only dude who owns the Queen, Smiths and Prince back catalogues, which were the "gay" albums or artists she singled out. Guess she wasn't familiar with how gay Mark Eitzel, Magnetic Fields, etc are. I hope she's out there somewhere dating the guy who called me a "faggot" after I exited the theater for Brokeback Mountain.

Yeah, Belle & Sebastian. I love them so much, almost makes me question my heterosexuality.
