Seriously? 9.2? The Modern Lovers is a 12.0. And a review actually talking about the music and the context surrounding the album? Please. "Roadrunner" is more memorable than any neutered indie rock they rave about. "Pablo Picasso" and "I'm Straight" are more amusing than any hipster comic on Matador, or Geffen or whatever no-name indie label they are getting paid to promote. And "Hospital" is more moving and emotional than anything that Gym Class Fallout that Pitchfork has been creaming their girl jeans about ever wrote.

Who else is with me and is "over" Pitchfork. This is Web 2.0. If I say The Modern Lovers is a 12.0, then I should be able to go edit the review and give it the correct rating.
The Good Dr Bill
worthwhile point, though I'd say it's like a 9.8
The Luscious Phil
what's next? are they going to give Pet Sounds a 7.5?
The Good Dr Bill

You are correct. That review does bite.
