Not for me and not school related. Graduation from a program for women in politics. Is there like a standard graduation theme? Or better, an actually cool song that is somehow appropriate to play at a graduation banquet? Anyone?

"You're A Big Girl Now" Bob Dylan
"This Year's Girl" Elvis Costello
"Finest Worksong" REM

Sorry Tweed, that's all I got.

"Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon" who sings that, Neil Diamond?

So yeah, Pomp & Circumstance. But everyone uses that.

"Sunrise, Sunset" from Fiddler on the Roof is also popular at graduations.

The guy who had the locker next to mine in high school was always saying that our graduation song should be the "Wasted Years" (Iron Maiden). Probably doesn't send quite the right message in this case. . .

If it's good enough entrance music for Macho Man Randy Savage, it's good enough for a bunch of mop squeezers.

however, save it for when the lady is not a politician, but a lawyer

I thought of another one--"The End" (Doors).

Also one more that I'll try to upload for ya. Along the lines of Pomp & Circumstance, it really would be perfect.

Pomp and Circumstance

Misread this as "Pump and Circumstance" which would've been the bast name for an early-90s dance outfit ever. What a waste.
velocity
Steve Morse has a song called "Pompous Circumstance," maybe I'll upload that too.
Angrimorfee
"Don't Stop"--Fleetwood Mac (half-kidding)

Looks like Pomp & Circumstance is the front runner. Any chance anyone has a copy of that they could post here? I need it as an mp3 so an iTunes purchase won't cut it. Thanks everyone.
