During a live taping of the Bill Mahler show, a protester kept yelling that 9/11 is a fraud. Mahler finally had enough and bemoaned the lack of security on his set. When security attempted to remove the protester from the audience, they met a lot of resistance, so Mahler himself helped them oust the protester out the door. Afterward Mahler joked that this was one instance where he actually sided with Bush.

Yeah, I watched that episode. It was great live TV drama.
He was visibly pissed as credits rolled. I suspect some of his audience screeners and bouncers might have been canned afterward.
LOL at that whole conspiracy group who believes 9/11 was orchestrated by our government and that the Trade Centers had explosives in the basement.

Don't you kind of feel bad for how pointless their lives must be though? I mean, I bet that Bill Maher show was the highlight of their lives.

it's pretty damn wacko alright but then they're backed by a bunch of semi-noteworthy folks. I first caught wind of this circa 'the view' discussion because Streisand's hubbie is a big backer of this notion. In addition, looking at their website. They've got a number of architects as well as other fairly educated types deconstructing the logic about what was possible and what was seen.
I never would have imagined that with enough time gone by that there'd be this big a stretch as to suggest that there's such an enormous 'secret/invisible' elephant in the room that this would even be feasible much less to be believed. Despite what sort of amorous anti-government sentiment may exist it almost goes to the point where I'm not even sure whether some of the folks who are being cited as references for this fable even know that they're being cast in this given that it's basically been stirred from the internet.

Bill was justified in being annoyed by the, frankly ludicrous, outbursts of a few people in the crowd. It's a talk show- you go to see the panel speak and you listen. It's not the fucking forum floor for you to rudely interrupt the programme for everyone else.
I was annoyed by the dude shouting. Bill Maher is a cool dude.

Good for Bill Maher, but if a conservative host did the same thing people would cry "free speech" and vilify the host for days. Double standard.
