QUOTE
Somehow, this ended up being the tougher list to compile -- probably because I didn't think about it constantly for the last couple weeks.

This is OTM. I spent my ENTIRE day on this list. Drove me insane, now I've got hardly any waking hours left for the list I really wanted to spend the day on.

typical pickle conflicts
I dunno what on earth I find so upsetting/unsettling about that Ark song but I had a panic attack while listening to it once. Probably that means I should rank it #1 despite not remembering how it goes at all
typical pickle conflicts
I had this in google documents from like a week and a half back and in numbering the list I realize what I had yet to do was go in and rank and insert nearly all T-Pain content. I think everyone realizes that T-Pain deserves better than to have that left undone but organizing T-Pain singles from 2007 is a not inconsiderable task and I'm kind of tired. I also feel kind of wrong having a song where probably like 57-65% of what I enjoy about it is from 2006 as no. 1 but then I realized that I was making a list of songs I like for the internet to look at, so.

I mean, it's not offensive, but ranking it above "Umbrella" is utterly bizarre. Probably the worst song on the album. Or least awesome.

EDIT: Just heard that Pink song now. What the hell, Slackmo? What the hell?

Also, would just like to point out to the haters that I did not rate Ms Bedingfield's pop gem the highest. Though I kind of wish I did, as that song rules.

Ignoring a few major flaws, damn good list, slacks.

Thanks for the most part, and yeah--I thought about what a head-scratcher those top 2 were, but all of the top 11 were contenders for #1 for me, and I went with the order that felt best. I don't usually burn out on ubiquity, but Umbrella suffered a little for it with me. I don't think either of my top 2 are going to crack our top 40, but I'd be happy to explain them away at length in the blurbs.

I'm curious if the people who don't like "Who Knew" like "Since You Been Gone"... they're basically the same song.

Actually, the first time I heard either Pink single, my first thought was, "Kelly Clarkson?"
