I know you can look up essays from Hua Hsu, Mark Richardson, and Eric Harvey explaining it, and if y'all are too young to get it right now, the beauty is that in 2-3-5-7-10 years that song will smack you upside the head and stab you in the heart all in one go. It's not like this weezer shit where you have to be a kid to understand. Most everyone here, who cherises their youth and the pop culture detritus that comes with it at the xpense of growing up and making meaningful, lasting relationships either gets it or someday should.
