"Fun Stuff" is gorgeous. I was a little slow to the party on these guys but would put them up against pretty much any rock band in the world right now in terms of consistently great songwriting

anybody heard this yet? i believe that some promos are out there, and i assume that some of you fr stans have some sort of biz/crit connections. the title has me worried (sounds goofy and, i dunno, bland) but i'm really pulling for them to put out another monster record. please, someone, reassure me.

"Nothing Like You" sounds awesome... it's reminding me of something but I can't put my finger on exactly what. Really great rocking, driving feel to it. Maybe it's just wishful thinking or something, but I also see major crossover potential here....

umm, that is super weird you mention that because i have been listening to that all night for no apparent reason.

i've had about a dozen different versions of that songs on the past 40 minutes or so just because it mysteriously popped in to my head earlier today (shortly after hearing this, actually).

I just spent some time reading up on some reviews of the new album while simultaneously looking for a leak (none out there....yet.....). By the sounds of it, this new disc is a logical extension of their sound and a very solid album, but not on quite as good as Midnight Organ Fight. I wouldn't expect them to be able to replicate the raw emotional punch that is MOF, but am very glad that they were able to (by the sounds of it) put together a really good album. Also on a plus note, all of the reviews I read made sure to mention Snow Patrol and that FR have not become them...

In summation, I have high expectations for this album. I don't expect it to be better than MOF but I do expect it to be really good. I feel that's a reasonable expectation...

Yeah, i'm pretty skeptical. Any time i search for anything i get Google telling me to go to Rapidshareleaks five times in a row. Sounds like a virus or a fuckload of email spam waiting to happen.

That's because Google sucks. Try Bing. Google is easily gamed by spammers and cheap content acquisition sites. Bing is picking up share.

Saying "Google sucks" is a bold claim, but fair enough, i'll give Bing a shot.

what i'd heard is that a few physical promo copies went out to the larger outlets, and that digital copies would be sent out sometime. everything i've heard indicates that they want to keep this one under wraps. would be a shame if their first big mainstream moment gets deflated by a really early week. that said, i want this fucker like last month.
