You guys obviously don't listen to the radio much
not really true, i just mean where is this coming from in the what-was-the-catalyst sense
Hip-hop has been gravitating towards an embrace of dance/electronic music for awhile now, especially in the Bay Area scene. The prominence of the rave culture has helped that, but I'm not sure what is the driving force. Probably just the ease at which people can diversify their music tastes via downloading. Hip-hop artists that are traditionally insular, and just listening to hip-hop are exploring new avenues.

Not bad, but I prefer classic R&B. I try to be open to the new stuff, but just like the old-school stuff better.
