Oh, you bastards. One show is all I ask. Play any city on the Canadian prairies, and I'll drive there. This is the third straight tour they've played Vancouver, and spent a week lollygagging their way to Minny instead of playing shows along the way. mad.gif
Killface
I'm with you, Priest...

Dude, sell your Mogwai tickets and go see DBTs. Mogwai is great live, but DBTs will blow you out the fuggin' door.

Isbell leaving has really taken the wind out of my DBT sails. I have a feeling I'll really regret not catching this tour but my heart's just not in at the moment. Maybe I'll come around.

Thx. How's the sound quality?

Their last DC show was a bit of a letdown. It was half Dirt Underneath / half Rock Show. The acoustic segment, which I expected to be beautiful, was fairly dull. The rock show was solid, but the absence of Isbell was clearly noticeable.

The taper, Sloan, is held in high regard. It doesn't appear to be a soundboard, though.

I have to agree. But I recently saw Isbell live and wasn't all that impressed. Looks like he went all out for the solo thing and it kinda fell flat. He definitely looks like he's put on 20-30 lbs and isn't nearly as energetic.

I just hope the two can make amends, as the separation of Isbell and the Truckers hurts both equally.
