Here are the bonus tracks for Ashes and Fire. The first two are from the Itunes version and have been converted to 320k MP3 format from the M4a format and "Petal in a Rainstorm" is in MP3 and is directly sourced from the flexi disc which came with the deluxe edition version. You will hear some popping and scratching because of the quality of the flexi disc. If anyone finds a better verison, please feel free to share with the rest of us. Thanks.

This is a pretty crappy thing to do.

Not buying into the "return to form!" PR hype on this one. It's just an okay RA album.

I did like his performance on Conan a few nights ago.

Best since Jacksonville City Nights, which unfortunately doesn't mean shit.

Eh, Easy Tiger is better than this I think.

Correction. Better songs, but worse production.

If anything this record has done two things:
1) Made me realize that Heartbreaker and Stranger's Almanac are two monster records
2) Made me realize that Ryan Adams is a poor songwriter who happened to write two phenomenal records.

I feel lin love with him and Heartbreaker and every record since then has dissapointed. Probably time to quit waiting for him to turn things around.

Whoa whoa whoa there buddy. Although he hasn't made a record quite as good as Heartbreaker or Stranger's Almanac, RA is anything but a poor songwriter. The dude has like 50 GREAT songs, which is pretty damned impressive by any standard.

Yeah, that's nuts. They reach different heights but Gold, Love is Hell, Cold Roses, Jacksonville City Nights and Easy Tiger are all damn good.

Jacksonville City Nights is probably his most completely realized idea since Heartbreaker.

I haven't listened to Easy Tiger in so damn long - you might be right. The production on A&F really is spectacular and fits the songs well.

The biggest realization for me with this album, is that sometimes I just can't get past shitty, shitty lyrics.

Samesies. Cornball city. I can't even listen to Come Home. ILYBIDKWTS almost fails for me as well, but somehow Ry Ry pulls it off.

I hate to let image get in the way of my enjoyment, but the lyric situation becomes much worse when I picture him in his death metal t-shirts, hunched over and scribbling this crap, before hopping online to pick bitchy little fights with Neil Finn and kids on his fan forums.

a dvd of this show is online. Curious, but not enough for a full dvd.
Dead Flowers
Ryan's contributions are great. The other two are passable. They edited out all the bickering, obviously.

can anyone tell me if the space madness sessions were posted here?

Adams did a radio spot today and Isbell backed him on a few songs here. I'm pretty excited to see what comes of this friendship.
