Weird--I just felt a twinge of affection for Billy Corgan.

I think the fact that he nails the mock-dracula voice and laughter makes it all work.

A friend of mine went to this show, apparently they were all in costumes as follows:
Corgan: Chinese person complete with sun hat, kimono, and wig
Chamberlin: Mexican dude with a fake mustache and sombrero
Ginger (bassist) and another backing musician: dinosaurs
keyboardist: harlequin doll
Horn players (?!): Bunnies
Jeff (guitarist): no one could pin down what he was wearing.
