Full Version: Great show this week
Got me excited about three newish albums. I'll be checking out the Nick Cave and the new Lindsey Buckingham, and giving the Vivian Girls another spin. Thanks!
Yeah, good album reviews, BUT, about the Nick Cave interview, did Dero actually begin by essentially asking Nick why he's so awesome? Yikes. Reminded me of the scripted question Lisa Simpson was supposed to ask Mr. Burns when he ran for governor: "Mr. Burns, your campaign has the momentum of a runaway freight train. What makes you so popular?"

Yeah, and whats funny is that Nick sorta called him out on it. Loved hearing them on the show, though!
It was an awkward moment.
Dec. 7th: Coulda spent the entire show deconstructing Britney's new record and her enduring popularity, tossed in the Obit for Odetta and skipped Amy "I'm Famous for Being Dull" Ray, altogether.

Nick's response reminded me of a Mr. Show episode where Sarah Silverman plays an mtv VJ trying to interview a snide british band who won't play along. They all end up going to a team-building retreat.
