Glass Eye - Huge (1986)

Haven't had a copy since my vinyl went missing almost 20 years ago.

And it's not like they were on anyone's priority reissue list or anything.

Good tunes like "I Don't Need Drugs To Be Fucked Up" and a bloozy chick take on "Minnie The Moocher."

Favorite tune from it:

"Treefort"

Some Brilliant Bullsh*t
I think I saw these guys ages ago, possibly opening for Scratch Acid in Cincinnati; possibly a show at which I drank 10 24 oz. cans of Old Milwaukee Light. So also possibly not. Good show, though.

I remember that record, too. Also good.
Umberto Eco The Dolphin
That was nice. I have no idea how to describe it......but it was like....Devo meets Knight Rider near the end, mixed with Jesus Lizard before they start shouting. What genre is this music?

I dunno really. They came out the so-called "new sincerity" movement around Austin in the mid 80's. But they were more like Gang Of Four Meets Poi Dog Pondering.

I just looked them up on allmusic, and this was the entire review for their next album:

Very edgy, angular pop. Deconstructed? Visionary!

They didn't even put together a real sentence. Why even bother, you know?

I may download this.

two other tracks:

"Chrome Shoes" from the Margo EP (1985) http://www.box.net/shared/8q3ymcllaj

"Minnie The Moocher" from Huge (1986) http://www.box.net/shared/k18pbo4foi

They had 4 other albums, 3 in the late 80's and apparently one in 2006. I'll have to track them down.
