97. Sir Ben Kingsley - Sexy Beast

birdistheword
Michael Wilmington did a much shorter list about 6, 7 years ago.

Robert Duvall in "The Apostle," Jack Nicholson in "Chinatown," Katharine Hepburn in "Long Day's Journey Into Night," Al Pacino in "The Godfather Pt 1 & 2," Marlon Brandon in "On The Waterfront"...I think it was a top 10 list, but I can't remember the rest.
Uncle Remus
Jesus, what a bunch of bullshit. How the fuck did Jamie Foxx make it on their and Brando in "The Godfather" is left off entirely????

and in the 2nd 100 --

Keanu Reeves as Ted Logan, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
The Good Dr Bill
interesting, but that's got to be one of the most arbitrarily ranked lists in history. You could flip that thing upside down and it would make just as much sense (which is not much, obv), and that's never a good thing.
Mitchell
Brando's in the next hundred which has some more interesting choices (Serkis as Gollum, R Williams as The Genie) but yeah it looks pretty random consdering it was a countdown.

If you like films BTW Look

Way to raise awareness. tongue.gif I don't know how much more you can really shake things up here.
How many people voted anyways?
Mitchell
18 lists, 211 films.
Elemeno P.T.
On the other hand...you gotta love a list that recognizes Steve "He hates these cans" Martin.

No Shaq?!!

Peter O'Toole at #1 is definitely my #1 complaint about this so-called list. dry.gif
wh1tep0ny
my main problem

is no Joe Pesci for Goodfellas # 1 performance imo

Goodfellas is better then any of the Godfather films

and Joe Pesci is flat out perfect as Tommy

my 2nd complaint is Nic Cage as Ben is in the 2nd hundred

that's my second favorite perfromance ever

That was probably his best work.

ya, I got no problem with Hanks for Big a great film - now his placement for Cast Away is a joke surprised the Terminal didn't make it on there
