The sequel was shitty enough. How many crap cameos can we expect in this one?

as far as I'm concerned, they could go up to Ocean's Seventy-Five. Great cast, great behind-the-scenes pedigree, great attitude about the whole thing...making a franchise out of it probably wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Ocean's 11, great movie, popcorn flick or otherwise...and way better than the original. Ocean's 12, incomprehensible crap. Let it die.

You are on crack. Oceans 12 was the only movie I can remember that I almost walked out on. Oceans 11 was an entertaining movie. Oceans 12 was a piece of garbage. If not for the rip off dancing through the lazer alarm alone. Entrapment anyone?

Terrible film.

11 way better than 12 but they can do as many as they like if it means Hollywood allow Clooney make films like Solaris, Good Night, And Good Luck and Syriana

I would do anything to be in Clooneys gang of friends and these films are the closest we'll ever get so I agree they should make as many as they want

also this one will be written by the Rounders guys so I think it will kick ass

would love if they could work Sean Penn or Depp into this one

Man I've never seen the Good Doc be more off the mark than he is on this thread. Ocean's 11 was a great summer popcorn flick, but the 12 was insufferably boring and lacked any of the charm of the first one.

I think these flicks are fun, I liked the script/plot of 11 better but 12 was entertaining enough I guess with all the shots of European cities - I would like the next one to be more like 11 - but I don't care all that much, I know what to expect and find them mildly entertaining.

I didn't like Ocean's 12 much when I saw it in the theater, but caught it on HBO and fell in love with it.

11 still rules it, simply because of the Vegas setting and the less-forced nature of the acting.

I hope they can relax on the third one (and get rid of Julia Roberts), but I could watch these go on forever, like Dr. Bill.

oh good...Roberts and Zeta-Jones aren't in it. Not sure that Ellen Barkin is quite what was needed, but she still looks damn good.

I was an extra in Ocean's 12 but my scene got cut and the dvd has no deleated scenes.

It's the apocalypse!

No seriously - 12 coulda been great. I thought the opening 20 minutes were a thrill, what with Andy Garcia bein' about the baddest motherfucker on the planet... Then 12 wandered around with no focus, and everyone tryin' to out-cool each other. Bottom line = shoulda had more Garcia. Woulda been great.

Same thing happened to me. Except it was an infinitely less cool movie...

uhh...exactly? Apparently others had different goals in mind for OC12 than I did.

There have been maybe 13 sequels better* or as good as the first film. Unfortunatley having the number 2 in a film title is pretty much a box office shoe in.

*
Godfather II
Aliens
Toy Story 2
X2: X-Men United
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Evil Dead 2 : Dead by Dawn
Drunken Master 2
Bride Of Frankenstein
Dawn of The Dead
Superman II
The Boune Supremacy
