You know what's a good Beatles song? "I'll Get You."

I like that song a lot.

Oh yeah, oh yeah.

Kinda ironic they went from "I'll Get You" to "Run For Your Life" in 2 years. At the start, it's all lovey-dovey, then by the end you wanna kill 'em.

don't forget Norwegian Wood

John's misogyny knew no bounds
Sid! Hartha
I need to dig out my special Beatles "I'll Get You" compilation. It's chock full of "I'll Get You"s.

I want to hold your hand (so you can't get away bwa-hahahaha)
Waves Within
So, is 'Chains' the first ever bondage song? Rihanna is fifty years behind the times on this score.

I don't hate "Something." But the only part of it that stands up to the best Beatles songs for me is the "You're asking me will my love grow, I don't know, I don't know" group vocal bit. Otherwise, I wouldn't even put it in my list of favorite George Harrison Beatles songs.

Off the top of my head:
If I Needed Someone
It's All Too Much
Taxman
Old Brown Shoe
I Need You
Savoy Truffle
Think For Yourself
Here Comes The Sun
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Don't Bother Me

"I Want You (She's So Heavy)"...now that's a monster.

i'd probably order his songs like this:

Here Comes The Sun
It's All Too Much
Taxman
Old Brown Shoe
I Want To Tell You
I Need You
If I Needed Someone
Think For Yourself
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
For You Blue
Love You To
The Inner Light

I was listening to a bunch of crazy remastered George songs at high volume last night.

"The Inner Light" is some happenin' shit.

Only A Northern Song, you fools

i would love to know how they made some of the sounds on that song ~ but it's not one of my favorites of George's.

I kinda hate George's songs about other people taking his money

i just hear "i'm rich, but not rich enough waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

George was always the sour Beatle.

Considering the Beatles income was taxed around 95% at this time, it's hardly surprising they'd, eh, 'whine'.

i still have a hard time empathizing with the rich not having enough $$
Merle
how about the upper middle class?
Moo & Oink
Rich whiner or not, you gotta appreciate the fact that George had his own film production company later on in his life.
shave
Handmade Films, which gave us Life of Brian, The Meaning of Life, Withnail And I...
tjenz
I like a lot of George's work

just not those couple of songs about the $$ he doesn't have

also not a fan of songs about life is hard on the road or how being famous is like prison blah blah blah......
Merle
what about songs about having too much sex?
b*derty
not a fan of rap i take it? dry.gif

How much is too much?
I figure anyone having more than me is having too much.
