Was thinking that.
I saw them at a stadium show on Brain Salad Surgery tour. Quad sound so that when the synth sound that goes back and forth from speaker to speaker at the end of Karn Evil on the record was played it circled the stadium. Cooool.
I pull out their records for nostalgia from time to time but really no desire to see them live.

ELP bashing is a cliché.

I actually think Trilogy, Tarkus and, to a lesser extent, Brain Salad Surgery are all pretty cool records. The opening jam "Endless Enigma Part 1" off Trilogy is fucking sick, no joke.
Pavement Ist Rad
The non title track songs on Tarkus are among the worst ever recorded.

Trilogy is the shit for progressive rockers.

Not sure why this is news. I saw them on a 'reunion' tour about 10 years ago or so at teh Rosemont Theatre. Good show--great Carl Palmer drum solo. I mean are the fucking Eagles or something? Gonna keep on with the "reunion" tour until people realize that they already did it?
