this is the best us sitcom i watched in a minute, dont get me wrong u guys are geniususs for cranking out quality ish but apart from Curb and Family Guy i havent really paid attention in recent years, but i fks with Modern Family. I prefer it to 30 rock and The us Office. now i heard Modern Family bit a uk sitcom called OutNumbered which i never even heard off in my life until this ish hit the scene.

the episode with elizabeth banks last week was great. speaking off which, why isnt eliizabeth banks a bigger star?

Yeah, Modern Family is really, really funny. Not sure how I rank it compared to the The Office and 30 Rock, but its gotta be close.

Saw 2 episodes of this. Got a real arrested development vibe. Good shit for sure, something I plan on getting into. I could never see Al Bundy succeeding in hollywood as anybody other than Al Bundy, though, so I'm giving this show 4 seasons tops and a cult following before the cancel.

Hot foreign chick is totally Marta, dude in band who wants to nail the young girl is Steve Holt, Whacked out mom is a slightly more sympathetic Lucielle Bluth... real Lucielle / Aunt Lindsay thing going on with the mom and her daughter. I guess other parallels exist, probably just don't work as well. Or maybe I just want all shows, good and bad, to be Arrested Development. Either way, recording all this shit now to watch eventually.

Great show.
Love how the middle sibling(Alex) messes with her older sister & younger brother.
Been a fan of Julie Bowen for years (Ed, Lost)

Just looked at Wikipedia & it seems the ratings are going down each week.

Show is pretty funny. Community is another one I really like. Great cast in that one.

Can't blame America. How long has it been since ABC knew funny?

Mork & Mindy?

Haven't watched it yet, but I did read an article that led me to believe that this show was going to actually do something new. It's probably just too little, too late. Really wish folks would jsus let the family sit-com die once and for all, but that's just me.

great show, really funny cast.

Um, guys, why is there only a few posts on this show? It is by far the funniest show on TV right now. If you're not watching, you're missing out.

It is a very watchable show, but there's something about that makes me feel like everything in the writing has been overly test-marketed and it's a shell of what it's actually supposed to be. Plus, there isn't really any excellent characters in this show on the level of a Ron Swanson, Creed Bratton, or Jack Donaghy. But it's pretty good at escalating situations. I just don't really make time for this show.

Yeah, there's a vibe, something's not quite as it should be. I've seen 2-3 episodes. It's promising but I can't be bothered by commercials. Will look again to see if it's made it to On Demand. Still nowhere near as good as 30 Rock.

I like this show a whole lot. I've gotten into it into the last month and my favorite episode has been the one with Edward Norton laying the accent down thicker than his bass.

"You're not Fandau!"

This is by far and away my favorite show on TV right now. Ed O'Neill is extremely funny-- as pointed out earlier, it's a shock that he's able to get past Al Bundy.

My only complaint is that it's got the "ABC Family Comedy" feeling to it. Disney's aura begins to penetrate, and at some point, characters start learning, apologizing, and hugging.

This is why "Sons And Daughters" died, which was a damn shame.

I thought this too until recently. But, for me, it has surpassed 30 Rock as the best show currently on TV.

Enjoyable ensemble comedy. Well written. Good stuff. Solid B+.

I'm not sure if that was joke or not, but the show is on ABC.

I live in the middle of nowhere and can't get ABC over the airwaves even with rabbit ears.
