No, it's 01:02:03 on 04/05/06 that's "special."

01 02 03 04 05 06

Someone in my wife's department sent out an e-mail yesterday about this, claiming that this was an occurance that would only happen once in all time.

He was quickly bombarded by "Yeah, never happened in 1906" and "Oh yeah, that will never happen again in 2106" replies.

That guy felt dumb.

And in every country in the world that isn't US or Canada (or those that don't even use the Gregorian calendar) it's just another day.

Coincidently, I was planning on ejaculating at that exact moment. I think it might take precedence.

Canada does dd/mm/yy too. I spent a fucking week configuring our software to display dates in that format
biggie mcsmalls
It's gonna be just like when all the dates rolled to 01/01/00.

Total mayhem. Break out the Spam and head for the bomb shelter.
Mitchell
Yeah technically they don't but the proximity of the US makes it acceptable whereas elsewhere in the world they don't take none of that shit.

well...

the only way it'll happen more than once in anyones lifetime is if they were born on or around an '06 year and live to be 100+ years old. so while it can happen, it's quite slim, and will not happen again in anyone on this msg board's lifetime (unless we've got someone at the century mark? wink.gif. now if you had a kid in the last year or so, and he lives to be 100+, sure.

But this guy claimed it was a ONE TIME FOREVER AND EVER occrurance, not in one's lifetime.

Interestingly, the ones that they don't advertise as IMPORTANT are sometimes better.
