Looking for an INSTRUMENTAL version of The Lady In The Radiator song.
Not the pixies or anything, the version from the film.
Thanks.

In all seriousness, though, have you consulted slsk? Usually the authority on these matters, given ample time.

Someone find me a goddamned copy of Smile that was recorded with the entirety of The Beach Boys and Van Dyke Parks in 1967/68. No comps or new version. And make sure Michael Jackson has a guest verse on there. Try Napster.

clearly, such a thing exists, because it was necessary for the creation of the final product.
You think every instrumental and accapella track out there that dj's use was officially released on a cd?

that's a rather l33t request from someone who namedrops Limewire.
(I did a quick check on my usual sources for you - no luck on the instrumental)

No, I think DJ's use Adobe Audition to isolate and then eliminate the vocal track, thus creating their own instro.

I think I meant slsk. One of those places you download individual songs from people's computer.
I never really used any of those. I'm way to 1337.

Maybe write to David Lynch?

I'm confused -- was there an instrumental version used in the movie? Or is Theremin not really reading the other posts in this thread?

The purist director who refuses to include chapter stops on several of his DVDs.
"But it wasn't
intended to be heard without vocals!"

No such thing. If it does exist it wasn't recorded by the Beach Boys themselves. Mostly studio musicians.

Assumed that was a joke pointing out the outlandishness of the original request.
