I appreciate the thought process where these threads come from. But when you write stuff like what's quoted or other very shallow assessments of serious issues like the "your evaulation of the president" and such, it comes off really condescending towards black people because of how shallow and ig'nant looking you tend to make it.

You are a racist Jigga. But, in your mind, you think it's OK because you are black. This is not an attack, or even a put down, but just how I see it. My experience with African Americans has been that they are an awesome people. I think much of racism is based on fear. I see love and compassion in the actions of my black colleagues that I don't see as often in white people. I really love black people a lot. But, overall, I'd say blacks are even more racist than whites. I think that the black community has turned racism into a defense mechanism in a way. When Bill Cosby comes out and says "look in a mirror". "You don't take care of your families, you impregnate young women and leave, you can't hold a job, etc." - he is attacked by the black community with rhetoric about abstract concepts like "the big picture" and "the way our society is as a whole" and "masked racism ingrained in the system". Stuff like that. This is a defense mechanism because the community doesn't want to say, "it's our fault". That's hard to do for any race in a situation of poverty.

The fact is that this country works against the poor. It's not necessarilly an issue of black anymore, I don't think. But, more of an issue of poor. Black communities are poor and I think that it's pretty clear that they have huge disadvantages growing up. They are under-funded and systematically held down by "the man". To me, at this point, the color is not as big an issue. It's all about social strata for me. But, like Bill Cosby says, and he's right: that doesn't mean you can't still have a better community than is presently there.

I'm not offended at all. I just think you need to read your own posts and realize that you alone can make an entire group of people, and a massive group at that look like waste. I'll take him on his word, although I maintain a certain level of suspicion on his persona I have no reason to belive he's lying other than that people are really easily offended by some rather obviously overstated shit that is actually right about as often as it is totally wrong.

The responses to jigga threads are often more disappointing than the jigga post itself.

Basically Jigga does a service to the board by making it easy to track terrible posters. You just look at those who post frequently in Jigga threads and you see MCF, Smells Like Douche, and some of the other very worst boarders on SOMB all in one place. He's like a lightning rod for bad posters. Ace did the same thing to a degree, but I think Jigga is better at it.
The other theory would be that it's an experiment to see if he can ever post anything that won't be followed by something more ridiculous from someone else on the SOMB. I think he's only actually managed it a few times.

Clique is just a pejorative that suggests, illogically, that a social group of this size should not form sub-groups within the whole (or even could avoid it if it wanted to), and the only boarders who complain about them are the ones with opinions too ill-conceived or outlandish to ever coalesce their own.

Yes surely racial discrimination plays no part in continuing poverty. I mean he has something of a point that much of poverty in black community is just a function of non-racial poverty and that people tend to look at just race but he's just flipping it around and ignoring race instead and he's nieve if he thinks pure racial factors don't still play into that in the education system, law enforcement and job hiring. But even taking the thread question seriously is arguably a misstep to begin with.
