really if u love AI, u will eat the X Factor up, shit i love it. i dont watch it religiously but i watched it this weekend and a few episodes early on. it doing crazy ratings, 19 million watched last night which is the kind of ratings u just cant get anymore over here. problem is what happends to American Idol? unless half the year is AI and the other half is X Factor. If he does pull it off, i predict he will overtake Oprah as the highest earning TV personality. HE already makes about 80 million a year but he owns the X Factor, while he is an employee of AI. So if he pulling 80 mill as a worker, how much is he gonna pull as owner.

would u welcome it.

I assume that's the plan - full year coverage. As far as I understand, the only real difference between the two is X-Factor can have groups?

There aren't enough weeks in the year for Simon to do American Idol, two X-Factors and two ...Got Talents.
Alright Still
I wish they would just adapt the X Factor format for American Idol.

With the mid-weeks showing that Rage Against The Machine's "Killing In The Name Of" is currently #1 though unlikely to keep X-Factor winner Joe from the top spot come Sunday with his cover of 'The Climb' the band were on BBC Radio 5 this morning. They managed to sing fuck five times in the end before getting cut-off.

Hapless jock said afterwards "we asked them not to do it and they did it anyway" suggesting she hasn't really got to grips with the whole issue.

I had no clue what you were talking about until I ran across an article about this. Pretty damn funny. I listened to about 30 second of that guiy singing a Miley Cirus(!!!) song and couldn't take much more of it. Really annoying voice. Anyway, from what I read, the PM made a public comment saying he preferred the X-Factor kid, and now RATM is up by like 80K copies? Ha!

Rage have won by over 50k. Will be announced officially at 7pm.

Next year, a push must be made for SFA's "The Man Don't Give a Fuck," which has, inexplicably, already once (possibly twice...?) charted.
