Plus it's kind of just like that Shrinebuilder LP from last year. Just with blue light. And a truck stop T-shirt "irony" wolf.

Ha, exactly what I thought when I saw BG's cover. Maybe add in Monoliths & Dimensions... unless those are all '10.
I'm np Oversteps, btw!!!

All 2010. I think I might like BG's the best, though.
Also forgot this one.

Kinda liked that Guido cover. Not sure why it's on there.

Feel like it falls under the "unexceptional" heading more than terrible. A lot of these are like that.
Feeling the "blast processing" reference, though.

i was watching hours of old vhs recordings of the simpsons during thanksgiving and it felt like every other ad was from sega. man, their commercials were way more obnoxious than i remember.
Duff.
Dec 8 2010, 05:35 PM
Yeah, they were always super pompous. I mean, they did call their system "Genesis."
Best part is blast-processing wasn't really even a thing.

You guys are bringing back some choice memories right now.

even way the ad would end with that scratchy, bark-like "sega" was aggravating. it's like they wanted to irritate you into buying their shitty systems. and i don't mean the genesis, i mean sega cd and game gear.
Duff.
Dec 9 2010, 11:15 AM
They abandoned that by the time Dreamcast came out, right? And yet that was the system that tanked. Fucking gamers.

dreamcast had some great games, like nights (which was slow and gorgeous and felt spiritually akin to echo the dolphin) and power stone. but yeah, that one didn't last long, but at least it wasn't sega-fucking-cd.
Duff.

Might have been unclear but I am in full support of the Sega Dreamcast.
