The Flaming Lips announce US tour and 'Dark Side Of The Moon' physical release details

The Flaming Lips have announced details of their upcoming US tour and the physical release of their 'Dark Side Of The Moon' album.

Beginning in Virginia on April 15 and finishing in Kansas on April 23, the group have a number of shows and festival appearances planned before and after the tour, including Bonnaroo and SunFest.

Meanwhile, Wayne Coyne and co are set to physically release their cover album of Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side Of The Moon'.

Featuring guest appearances from Henry Rollins and Peaches, the album was released digitally in December, but now the group are releasing it on vinyl as part of Record Store Day on April 17 and on CD on May 4.

The Flaming Lips will play:

It did make sense, that other thread was really about Embryonic.

Dark Side of the moon is a great album (duh) and the flaming lips doing a cover of it sounded great on paper
That being said , this was terrible
the henry rollins spoken word stuff was a snore and completly robbed the originals peculiar charms

oh well embryonic still kicks ass
becks record club is a better take on the " covering a whole album with celebrities " schtick
