Since the last Chillout thread started I've really come around on this genre. It is so diverse and exciting.

To be honest I've always referred to relaxing music in general as "chillout music"

chillout music isn't about the pleasures of conformity, or the importance of trends, it's a personal statement about the listener itself.

Yes, it's the type of music that is best enjoyed through an experience of time and place rather than whatever Indie hipter band happens to enjoy cred at the moment. i.e. passionate music

i was being facetious, waylon. i'm at work and don't have any speakers. plus, this song just makes me think of millie from freaks and geeks. she was kinda cute, in an inbred fringe christian kind of way.

i was being facetious, waylon. i'm at work and the only speakers are those in the computer itself, and even at loudest volume the sound is tinny and incomprehensible. also, working at a library means having everything set to mute, so as not to interrupt the sexual deviants and the unemployed. plus, this song just makes me think of millie from freaks and geeks. she was kinda cute, in an inbred fringe christian kind of way.
What kind of place do you work at that does not have a computer w/ speakers?
revised for accuracy.
