Those lists are better than nothing, but they're usually just the "top"singles, not all the "best" singles. I wish there was a list of all singles.

Yeah, I was thinking this would win earlier this evening. It'll either be this or London Calling, I reckon.

Still, 75-84 is one of my favourite musical periods.

This is all part of the split decade polls from 2006. Still the best achievement ever taken on by the board. It was some time consuming work for GDB and for all who had to come up with top one hundreds every couple of months.

Yeah, these lists were a lot of fun. Amazing that GDB did album and singles lists for these decades.
Too bad we never did a pre- 1955 singles countdown.
