I'm more surprised by the 3:15 game, seems like they ALWAYS play noon games.

Will Brett Favre's career end with a loss in Chicago? That would be kind of ironic since he's owned the Bears at Soldier Field.
tjenz
back to back games in NY, that seems odd

BS to the Vikings having to play in Chicago in December. They should be playing at Soldier at the top of the year, then the dome while it's cold.

BS I say.

pussy

I lost all respect for the Vikes after they moved into that dome

notice they had better teams when they played outdoors, the way the good lord intended

If the pussy Vikings and their fans don't want to play outdoors in December, then it is time to move the team to LA.

Yeah, c'mon Matt W--you're usually a little more level-headed than this post implies. You can't be serious. Don't worry, what with global warming, those December games will become increasingly balmy in the upper midwest.

Man, the Bears should just stay in NYC for, like, three weeks in November there. That's nuts: Giants, Jets, Pats in consecutive road games.

I was kind of hoping Favre's career would have ended in that game last year (in Soldier Field, I believe) when we beat the hell out of him. Oh how I've longed for the day he's outta the league. But if it ends on this New Year's Eve, so be it. I suspect he'll announce his retirement before that though.

Nothing like a shot of blue and orange Kool-Aid in early April.

Notice they got their asses beat when they played 4 Superbowls in Pasadena.

Notice the Tampa 2 defense, right now the toughest defensive scheme in the NFL, was developed with the 90's Vikings in the dome.

They've been dominant before in that dome in 98 and 00. The most dominant team last year, The Colts, was a dome team as well.

I ain't saying it's right, but Favre plays in the cold and he's still a pussy who throws INTs when he's about to get hit. I just don't like looking at the schedule and seeing one guaranteed loss.

how many Super Bowls have they even been to since moving into the dome?

I don't see a winnable game on that schedule.

Stupid school? Unless they're holding Sunday lectures--where are your priorities, woman?

Im a giant loser and I average study 18 hours for each test, meaning I need my weekends. Plus, next year Im getting a dog, so I cant just drive on home whenever I please. Its like havin a little baby!

Fuck the dog...
I mean don't get a dog.
Not fair to the canine to be
cooped up all the time while you
study. Wait until you graduate or later.

I dont think you know enough about me or my routine at school to be able to make this type of assumption.

And if I 'waited til i graduated' from all school at least....what will I be, like, 30?

'I average study 18 hours for each test'
Hell, you might not finish school until you're 35...
Ok, I'll bite.
How many credit hours do you take, on average, per semester?
Science majors study much more than other disciplines.
Time for classes/labs, time to study, time to eat, sleep, time for music/shows.
Seems like your schedule has little time left.
I love animals, as I'm sure you do, but is the urge for a dog
a selfish desire?
Just being the Devil's advocate.

OMG! YOu have me pinned down perfectly! What a fool I was for thinking I could get a dog. Thanks for putting me in my place.

The best pet owners I have seen on college campuses are vet students. And how much time do they have? I understand where you are coming from with that, but Ive thought about this good and hard. I know a lot about animals, and I know a lot about owning an animal, how to take care of it, the committement. Ive been up to my elbows in life with dogs and animal shelters. I know what it takes. And saving a dog from a shelter is anything but a selfish desire.

So its not just on a whim, this seems like a great idea, sort of thing. Ive thought it through. My parents are the rulers of "you cant have any responsibility, you cant handle that sort of thing" naysayers. And they support me all the way on this because they know what kind of owner Id be and how I would take care of it.

time to eat? are you kidding me? sammich as I walk to class=1 minute.

edit: and i study in tiny blocks thank you very much. there is no disappearing for 5 hours at a time. otherwise Id be cramming, not learning. but thats my study style
