Since "indicative of an idiocy only mandatory sterilization of idiots can cure" wasn't an option, I went with 'creepy.'
This country is so hopelessly fucked.

There's 45 minutes of video up there, anyone care to point me to the highlights so I can make an informed decision before I vote.

Any 5 minute segment of any of those videos should have enough evidence for you to decide one way or the other.
I can't remember which video has it, but there's a part where the father is sitting next to his tiny daughter as she talks about bringing a boy to him for "inspection."
Edit. It's at the end of the first video, starting around 10:55. Clearly shows the creepy puppeteering going on.

have only been randomly viewing bits and pieces but man, that third video at the five minute mark is insane.
"each week, the wilson children line up for their father's blessing"
hard enough to believe you could get one person to fall for this let alone an entire family (of seven kids).

Not that I doubted how my vote would go, but yeah, pretty fucking creepy. You don't even have to quote anything that's said. Just look at how the fathers look at their daughters. It's a piercing stare that combines both admiration and condemnation, with just a touch of lust.
The mothers I saw weren't as creepy, just extremely misguided. I think this is what the daytime talkshow hosts call "helicopter parenting." There's a persistent fear that these daughters might experience pain (be it emotional or physical), so they're being completely sheltered from life. Very sad.

The weird sexual body language that is on display all over the place when he's touching and talking to his daughters is nowhere to be seen when he addresses his "matriarch" with an uncomfortable-looking lip directed kiss that veers off to the cheek at the awkward last moment. Fun family... buncha rockin party animals in these vids.

"Shameless" just featured a scene of something like this in a recent episode. I know it was a TV show, but I got a strong sense of how creepy these things could be.
