As lame as this sounds, this is the kind of work that keeps a band creatively engaged so they don't end up producing crap like Sky Blue Sky and King of Limbs.

Totally. A tour with dave mathews is just what wilco would've needed to make SBS more edgy avant-kraut-rock. You don't win friends with dad rock.

That's hilarious since Sky Blue Sky and The Camel were dad rock, and Embryonic was about as far away as you could be from it.

There's nothing wrong with the Lips wanting to gain more fans. At least they're producing challenging, exciting records while doing so.

Just when I thought the Flaming Lips had found every way to exhaust that album, Wayne Coyne comes up with but another way to shove 'Do You Realize' down our throats. Hooray! A true innovator in every sense of the word.

I hope this is as good as AMERICAN IDIOT.

Radiohead did not require you to buy that to hear the music. Also, it was just a zine to go along with a record. Not an expensive toy you have to buy to hear one song. Anyway, it's silly and pointless to argue with the Sarah Palin of this board.
