That's what I've been up to for the last several days when not playing miserable Wii games for money. Love it. Had the import version, but thankfully eBay'd it a couple months back when it still had value.

I took my friend's Wii because his parents found his weed and he's grounded. Will find the friend code and post it here so you can all pwn me. But no metaknight, that's just too cheap.

Picked up Smash Bros. today! Will be back in my apartment tomorrow and playing tomorrow night. Must practice before challenging you all.

waddle dees are good to spam and fuck people up, they have a weird range though, also you might luck out and chuck a gordo which can KO at like 60%

Wife got her "goodie" from the tax refund yesterday....the Nintendo DS. Oh boy.

She bought Brain Age and Animal Crossing for starters...she likes cute, but not necessarily easy, environmental/puzzle games for the Game Cube like Paper Mario, Chibi-Robot, and Pikman. She was also interested in Cooking Mama. What are some other DS games you folks can recommend beyond that for her, or ones to stay the hell away from? (as suggestions for future birthday, Christmas or "because I love you" gifts)

Professor Layton may be right up her alley. Elite Beat Agents may not be quite what you're looking for (it's a rhythm game), but it's brilliant.

I was destroying my roommate as Wolf, but he's gotten really good at getting smash balls and preventing me from using them, and Fox's finishing move is way too good for way too long. Like twice the length of Wolf's. Wolf would make Fox useless otherwise I guess. His down-b move is my favorite thing ever. And that forward smash...

I need to try Lucas more. I was getting pretty good at Ness near the end of the Melee age. Still would need to work on recovering from getting thrown off the stage, though. Only properly execute his third jump, like, a third of the time.

Dawn Of War: Soulstorm has pulled me back into the Warhammer 40k RTS gaming with a vengeance. I'm on the Relic forums and in the game lobbies. I am arguing the merits of a lascannon vs. a multi-melta. I am climbing the competitive ladder and making my own mods and maps.

I even opened up the Codex Astrades...holy fucking shit.

got a copy of this to review in the mail yesterday. so far i've put in maybe an hour or so and i really love it. i like the free roaming mischief that you can get yourself in to. creating fireworks and throwing them in peoples face is probably the second best thing i've done, shortly behind having my character go to class in tighty whiteys and a letterman jacket. i'm really looking forward to getting more in to this beast.

I like the creativity in expanding the DS like that, but that looks beyond uncomfortable. Everyone knows Elite Beat Agents is the perfect rhythm game on the DS anyway.

Bought a WII recently so that i can play MARIO KART and WII FIT( not really sure if "play" is the right word for that one). When it gets released.

Mario Kart will be available on the 10th, or 11th of April in Europe. Unfortunately we still have no release date for Smash Bros.

Anyway i am playing ZELDA and MARIO STRIKERS.

I'm not even going to open this yet and fool myself into thinking I'll actually have the time to play this.

Currently working on Warriors Orochi (PSP) for review and doing an absolutely absurd amount of magazine work, all due by Friday. So no gaming for fun on the horizon, sadly.

BTW, to andyroo or anybody else who would know- what's a good starting point for Final Fantasy? I've played through most of FF2 (US name) and while very fun (until I accidentally overrode save file), I was hoping for a more modern graphics type thing. Should be noted I will play on an emulator because my brother took all consoles to college. So basically PSX, PS2 releases...
