I'm listening to it now, there's definitely some drumming going on. I actually haven't noticed any tap dancing, so I'm guessing they got rid of it. And so far I like it a lot.

I just listened to like 5(live) songs from the new album and its definitely a return to BSSM. sounds like its gonna be one of the best mainstream albums of the summer. John SHREADS these tracks to hindrix like proportions.
anyway haven't heard anything about promos so maybe this one like tool will not leak until a few days before the release. I mean dani California is a 6.5/10 but the others sounds waaaaay better.

I'm actually checking everyday for it too. Don't suppose you'd mind uploading the live tracks? I don't have an account on OiNk.

oh, thanks, i got it though. the file name was blahblah.rar.txt, so it wasn't too difficult to figure out. that's strange that it added the .txt extension to it though, wonder how that happened.

Ah I heard those last year. I was an admin over at Glassdanse. Wirez was a big fan of RHCP so he distributed them.

I'm a few tracks in, sounds pretty good. Nothing's really grabbed me yet, but I forsee multiple listens. His mixtapes were very solid.

Sound quality isn't the hottest, but I guess that's to be expected of a very early leak.

yeah I remember wirez and glassdanse and redlightglow. is there a new site yet? Now I go to Regnyouth archives, which is as good as any. So yeah back on the rhcp- people are saying on the MB's that it will likely leak next week.

Yeah, sound quality doesn't bother me too much. I just want to hear whether the album's strong enough to warrant purchasing when it comes out.

I really like St. Elsewhere, and think that it deserves all of the hype it generates. Besides it being a rock solid album, i like the teaming of Danger and Cee-lo. Maybe its just the promo pics, but they seem like they are just having fun with it, which really makes St. Elsewhere a fun record to listen to.

It's a fun album alright. And Crazy is one of those singles that will go down in history. The 00s have given us Crazy In Love, Hey Ya!, Milkshake and now Crazy. Great pop songs that also do well in the charts.

St. Elsewhere is just an okay album. It's all about "Crazy" which is great. The rest of the album doesn't quite do it.

I agree. Crazy is awesome, but the rest of the album isnt doing it for me. Ive only listened to it once though. Maybe repeated spins will open my ears.

Crazy is a cut above anything else on the album, but there are 2-3 more great tunes and the rest is not exactly second rate filler.

I've listened to the album 5-6 times all the way through so far and i never have the urge to skip a song. Make of that what you will.

Crazy isn't even the best song on the album imo.

it's not an amazing record, no, but it's a damn fun one.

Aside from the fact that I don't have an OiNK account i'm with ya I can't wait to hear the new one. I know a lot of people really hated By the Way and Californication but not me I loved them. True they are not the same as the older RHCP classics they lack the intensity on most songs but still the return of John Frusciante has done wonders for the band. Not too mention sobriety has done wonders for their live show it's no longer just loud and fast now there's loud, fast and good musicianship.

just got the newest destroyer. I can see myself really liking this if I get past the voice as I suspect I will. his voice reminds of the mountian goats. musically the first song blows my fucking face off with the "da da da da da's" only heard a little cause easter is occupying me. I really like this sound.
