Jan 29 2006, 10:07 PM
From Wikipedia:
As professional wrestling is staged, inevitably a wrestler will be required to lose to an opponent. While this technically does not matter, it may mark the end of a push, or damage a wrestler's self-esteem; also it may be a slip down the slippery slope. So when a wrestler is forced to lose, this is described as doing the job.
The act of losing is called jobbing, and a frequent loser is referred to as a jobber. It is a mark of disrespect to refer to a wrestler as a jobber, as it implies they are a failure in their career. The term has entered into popular culture, to mean a loser or someone who is worthless, as well as its Spanish equivalent, jabroni, a phrase that was made popular by The Rock.
Jabronis!

I feel the same way about that Destroyer set.
If I have to hear the roller coaster tone searching lyrics like Nya-nya-nya-na-na-la-la-lya-lya-lya again, I'm going to vomit. It was fine in one song. But it seemed like it was in every song.

Is anyone listening to this Wolfmother album besides sask? It rocks, like a cross between Sabbath and the Darkness sans the comedy. Although, to be honest, it's hard not to laugh at a track called "White Unicorn".

is the lead singer from QOTSA also the singer from eagles of death metal and desert sessions?
solace
Jan 30 2006, 03:55 PM
no and yes
the singer for EoDM is Jesse Hughes, but Josh played drums on the first EoDM record and toured with them for a bit but is no longer a member. he might be on this new record though, wouldn't be surprised at all. Grohl plays drums on a few tracks as well.
and yes, Josh Homme sings on most all of the Desert Sessions stuff, it's his baby
