i was just coming here to point that out actually

sounds very old school country, but for a 4:48 track, it sure did drag on for me :-/. it's not BAD, but hoping it grows on me, cuz it definitely does take the albums energy down a bunch of notches.

i really like the last track, that spoken word stuff from Patterson, and the pedal steel is gorgeous, now THAT is a good way to end an album of rockers.

take out Space City and so far this album kicks complete ass.

I'd almost call it "folky." Sounds like Tim Buckley.

it's not a BAD song, just very poorly placed imo, prolly woulda been better as a b-side or saved for Cooley's solo album.

With DBT out today, I'm going to get absolutely nothing done.

hopefully i can get the DBT disc to finish downloading within the next 20 minutes so that I can up it to the ole iPod and listen to it at work. That'd be really nice.

I've re-upped it to SendSpace which I find preferable to YSI as it has practically unlimited bandwidth.

however I thought Daylight was the weakest
but then I hear an Owner Of A Lonely Heart (YES) riff at the start of "Easy On Yourself"

the title track reminds me a bit of Feeling Gravity's Pull (REM)

Yep. how about that flow from the 2nd to last track into the last track? Damn that's some beautiful shit.

i never said it wasn't a good song, but it totally sticks out like a sore thumb in it's placement on the record, and takes me down a HUGE notch after the previous 8 songs. poor placement more than the song itself (but it does still drag on imo) for a sub 5 minute song)
