Good morning, everybody - if anyone can share:
The Robot Ate Me - Good World
The Thermals - The Body, The Blood, The Machine
or Lemonheads - Lemonheads
(not sure that last one has leaked yet)
I'd appreciate it immensely. Thanks!
Yeah, I'll get right on that.
I'm sure that's probably sarcasm, but everyone's new at one point.

It was dissapointing when they didn't have him read the audio version of "Chronicles" and instead had Sean Penn do it.

If you're talking about overdue albums, what about the full version of I'm Not Afraid of You and Will Beat Your Ass?
It's not going to happen. The clipped version is the review version. No one will have the full album before the actual release. And even then, it's going to be such a royal pain in the ass to sift through slsk or whatever in order to find the full version, you'll be better off buying the cd. That's Matador's strategy, I'm fairly certain.
It's only going to be a matter of time before labels start figuring out some workable solutions for all this leakage, so enjoy what you can while it lasts, folks.
I don't have a problem with this. I'm not grabbing leaked albums to avoid buying stuff - I just like hearing it before I get my wallet out.
...just hoping that I won't end up preferring the truncated version of the new YLT (some of those fades are kinda cool).

You know, it'll be distinctly interesting to see what (if anything) Britney does next in an attempt to counter this as, clearly, the album is going to be huge.

If I like the single (although part of me wishes she'd tone her singing down just a little bit), will I like the whole album? 2xCD seems like a bit much considering most single-disc pop albums contain too much filler...

the best part is how they're not asking for some little barely heard of indie band that we might not post when it leaks....they're asking for the Decemberists, and the Hold Steady, and the Killers and shit like that, as if the second it leaks it's not going to be up here and 10 pages of discussion and re-ups. This thread should be made strictly for links to the album, no talking nothing. If something needs a re-up you can PM the person who upped it and ask them nicely or something. Then there can be a seperate "leak request" thread where you ask for stuff to be upped into the thread. This would be so much easier. Each post here would simply be:

Just to clarify, I don't have a problem with downloading or sharing, I'd be a hypocrite to say otherwise. It's the fact that this and the other y-s-i thread are far away the most viewed on the board, and filled with a bunch of people asking for albums who make no posts anywhere else. Not to mention the amount who download without making requests or even registering.
