Back to this Mayer album... all but the first song is doin' it music if I've ever heard it.

The song P-Fork posted is the best song on the album, if you ask me. It's okay, but it gets pretty tiresome after awhile. I've only listened to it a couple times, but so far it doesn't keep calling me back.

anyone know what the deal with the new Hold Steady is and why it hasn't leaked yet? i got a message from them saying if you preorder the new album you get a free stream of said album. i would assume someone may have done this by now and somehoe ripped it/taken it off the website and converted it for all the internet to hear. but alas, it looks as though i am wrong.

Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor leaked, but was pulled from OiNK for being a transcode. Sounded pretty good to me. Will probably be back up in a proper rip within a couple of days.

The original version did, but they he/his label delayed it and he was going to rework a lot of it.

I just preordered Boys & Girls in U.S. and A. on amazon because they let you stream the album right away. It worked and I just listened top to bottom.

It rocks like hell. It is not a major shift in sound as Chips Ahoy and Southtown girls might have indicated, those two tracks are the only real sung ones. There is a straight up ballad called Citrus but it's short and has great lyrics. Standouts on first listen were Stuck between stations and Hot Soft Light.

Overall, it's very Wall of Soundish, more Springsteenish. Tad has taken his skills to the next level. Cannot wait for their NY area shows.

You can do it with iTunes just by importing. Just make sure in your preferences that importing is set to import as mp3.
