I found the Ted Leo to be pretty strong throughout. My main gripes is that yes it is about fifteen minutes too long, and has no absolute stunners (such as Me and Mia, or Where have all the Rude Boys Gone). but I think that it might be quite a bit better than Shake the Sheets.
A couple of stunners might help me forgive the bulk of middling material and its length. I was feeling very little of it compared to the last two albums, which weren't perfect, but were more distinguished than this.

Yeah, no offense LOL, your generosity is appreciated, but I'm swimming in so much music, I need to make educated choices in downloading. Don't get me running to MySpace. Give us a clue as to what we're getting into.
Maybe I'd be more willing to accept your "this is really fucking great" endorsement and fill up my hard drive if I wasn't so bored by the National Lights album that you put up.
