Anyone catch the Spurs vs Inter CL match? What a fucking game. Gareth Bale is so fucking good, he made Maicon look a proper twat all night.

Lol. Good work by JM.

Anxious.

Ah well, everyone likes money.

Corrupt oligarchy awards event to corrupt oligarchy (2018) and corrupt oligarchy (2022). Experts baffled.

Really, we (England AND USA) should be having nothing to do with this beyond turning up and kicking the ball about prior to a disappointing 2nd round exit. Its a disgrace that our PM spent 3 days in Zurich offering public-funded freebies to unconvicted criminals.
Binko
Qatar? Hilarious. You really can't make this shit up.

Yeah exactly.

Having the WC in Qatar with all this talk of air conditioned stadiums is just a big fuck you to anybody who is worried about climate change and sends a really bad fucking message. Stupidity reigns supreme.

Arsenal back on top of the table, even if it's only until ManU play their next match...

Chelsea looked like shit again today.

Mike Ashley, wanker par excellence mad.gif

Mitchell
So want Kevin Keegan to take over again.
Mitchell
Big Sam to West Ham then...?
amnesious
Why the fuck would you want that job at the moment? They have been horrible this season and will surely be going down at the end of the season.
Saskadelphia
What I don't get is how they actually made public the declaration that Grant has a three-week ultimatum. If you're going to do that, do it behind closed doors. That kind of stuff doesn't happen in North America normally.

Feel bad for Parker and Noble, they seem to be the only players who actually give a damn out there.
Mitchell
Not the first ultimatum he's had this season. Get the impression that some people at the club want to go down consilate like they did 8/9 years ago, clear out the dead wood and come back up again.
Mitchell
Another good day at the office for Woy.

Mitchell
LOL.

amnesious
Crazy transfer business all round. I thought Newcastle said Carroll was not for sale but I spose its difficult to knock back 30 million pounds or whatever the fuck it was for a player who certainly aint worth that. And Torres.....god damn.
Mitchell
What an amazing day.
amnesious
Indeed it was. Caught all the match of the day highlights on footytube today. The Arsenal game was properly crazy, Diaby is a fool for doing what he did. And thank god for Kranjkar's 90th min screamer to get Tottenham another win. Good to see Man U's undefeated run end also amd to Wolves of all teams.
badger5000
West Brom - doomed (again). Stupid bastards.
Mitchell
Seems he hasn't had the dressing room for a long time, even last season and a bad run was an excuse to get rid of him. Wonder if they'll sacrifice the tippy-tappy and bring Big Sam in.
badger5000
Martin O'Neill wouldn't have to move house.
Bruegs
you've got five minutes on this one Badge and i think that's generous...

Mitchell
I got five.
Bruegs
i got five too but it should have been more as i saw them twice over the festive period that year.

glad to see the back of the last of the Brummies this morning - very tiring/messy wknd, im almost relieved to be going back to work.
badger5000
Just seen this. Don't understand how it works sad.gif

just fill in the players surnames. It was a Baggies team from 2003 I was bringing to your attention but it had probably updated by the time you got the link. Here's the original one....

no after. i had a load of gorillas down from Brum. watched the game in the Gooner end and then joined the festivities after the game - very messy. i was kind of glad about the result tbh. it meant a lot more to the Bluenoses than it ever could to Arsenal.
badger5000
I got 4 mad.gif
Bruegs
i usually give up too soon because i want to see the answers and then realise i could have got more. its pretty galling when you realise you can do pretty much any Utd. XI from the last 20 years just through osmosis.
Mitchell

Predicting some really tight shit there.
badger5000
*cats arse mouth*
amnesious
Arsenal got proper fucked in that game. Zero shots on goal.....pretty awful.
Mitchell
demoncleaner
What's that? If points were awarded for half time scores?
Mitchell
Yep.
amnesious
Pretty nice Champions League final. Barca were always going to win, but the way they tore Man U apart was something else. I don't think I have ever seen Man U get beat like that.

I had a terrible gameweek 2 in fantasy. I never win this thing.
amnesious
I had a great week. Thank you David Silva. I think he is going to be one of the standouts in the fantasy comp this year, he is such a great playmaker and has got a decent eye for goal. I think I will be switching between having either him or Nani as my captain each week.
badger5000
Horrible unhealthy day in the EPL. Money now officially king, competition finally dead, we're heading into Barca/Real territory with ageing Chelsea keeping up for a while in Sevilla capacity (or something).
amnesious
Yeah it was quite shocking really. Being a casual Tottenham fan, I was none to pleased with their performance against Man City. I expected them to loose because Man City's team is just ridiculous now, but not that badly. And the Man U vs Arsenal game was just craziness. I wonder if Wenger will quit if they don't start performing soon. You'd have to think so.
badger5000
They've fucked up their transfers again this summer but they do have 10 players out injured. They should still compete for 4th but that in itself is a pretty fucked up place from which to be starting a season (for any club). I don't know if Wenger is the problem so much as a parsimonious board for whom football is just one business interest among many. Historically Arsenal was always run more sympathetically to the fans and the game itself, now it feels like the cart is before the horse. I'm not even a fan though, maybe Bruegs or someone can wade in and clarify.
amnesious
Yeah. It seems that the buck stops with the manager though. Arsenal have won nothing in six years and Wenger has fucked up pretty badly in the transfer department and seen two of his best and most important players leave, which was seemingly inevitable and he would have been mad to hold onto Nasri seeing as how his contract was up after this season and he would have left on a free. The injuries have really fucked them up also. I don't think its fair to heap all the blame on Wenger, he is clearly a good manager based on his work in the past. Doesn't look good for him at the moment though. I think if they don't start performing soon he'll be shown the door. Maybe this could signal Mourinho returning to the Premier League.......
amnesious
So Wenger was rather decisive yesterday. Some decent additions to his squad.

Im annoyed that Redknapp didn't manage to bring more in. Cahill would have been nice and they probably should have just cut their losses and got rid of Modric. Chelsea offered 40 million fucking pounds...you gotta take that for a player of Modric's ilk who clearly doesn't want to be there anymore.
