I paid $20 to watch the Liverpool ManUre match on PPV. Djbril Cisse is probably the worst player ever.

Oh dear. At least Arsenal lost and Spurs only drew.

LOL at The Arsenal playing UEFA Cup next year.

Yeah, also as Spurs have become the first ever Premiership team to only have 40 games in their season.

I love that he let the dog go loose in the neighborhood so the cops couldn't take it away. I also love that people are revisiting this thread and appreciating how groundbreaking it was. Unlike Wilco albums, which suck from Day 1.

Haha. Indeed. He might employ Hilario as a forward in the FA Cup final. I thought Setanta was carrying the match and now I'm hearing it is only on pay-per-view.
Mitchell
They've only get 15 fit squad players.

After the league game against Man Utd Sky asked him if Carvallho would play in the final (Maybe) and what chance he had of playing in the final (1%). Then they asked about Drogba and how his ankle injury (Is rib injury.)

The Wilco threads will prosper because it's a crappy record and a bunch of fanboys are defending it with hollow reasoning. That makes for alot of snob battles.

He was all, "Ballack, zero percent. Shevchenko, zero percent. Carvalho, one percent." The EPL will so miss him next year when he leaves for Italy or Spain.

I will never understand why some people still think Tupelo was a better band than Wilco. It's as ridiculous as someone saying the Stones were better in 1963 than they were in 1973.

Summerteeth and a Ghost Is Born are the albums that aren't in any way hindered by the current times like Being There, A.M . and YHF. I like every album they've done, but you can't help but think when listening to Being There that it's such a mid-90s album, and YHF is such a post-Kid A early 00's album.

Between those two, Summerteeth by a mile.

because 'experimental' and 'mature' doesn't always have to = 'better' (not that Wilco is even that experimental, but people sure like throwing that tag on YHF just because it has xylophones). UT wrote better hooks, played with more passion, and weren't full of themselves. Give me "Outdone" repeated for 45 minutes over the entirety of YHF or Summerteeth, easily.
Nick
Experimental for a dad rock band LOL.

Yeah...

Wilco wrote Yankee Hotel Foxtrot about 9/11. That is exactly why there are two towers on the cover. Jeff Tweedy's love for the city is exposed by his creative album cover that was a warning to the terrorists not to knock down THESE towers too.

I have discussed the exploitation of 9/11 at great leanghts with Tweedy and he denies having anything to do with such a thing and that it's purely cooincidental that they wrote and recorded this album in advance of those terrible events. As a highly suspicious marketing plan, it seemed to work masterfully anyway. They evne documented it with a dvd.

Jeff was really annoying because all he wanted to do was talk to me about these things....

He makes a few coins off of it so I tried not to fault him. If anything we should thank Jeff for saving the Mediteranean Towers. We need to remember they are more than a parking structure with some high priced condo's. They are CHICAGO's twin towers.

Im already sick of Radiohead.
Knowing what kind of music you would hate to make, isnt remotely the same thing as being inspired, Thom.
He's disappeared into his lame WARP records fantasy (ironically by putting out Maximo Park, WARP demonstrates a sense of fun that Thom has long since lost without a trace) and has now settled into
abject wankery knowing full well that his cow is too sacred for anyone to call him on any of his tuneless meandering wank.

Im all for being experimental, but his recent schtick reminds me of that Onion headline:
"Experimental" Band "Theoretically" Good.

dude i'm pretty sure most of YHF was completed and streaming on their website before 9/11, therefore making your theory entirely improbbable. unless tweedy can predict the future.
