i think it would be a result of putting too many people up on offense near the box, and leaving 3/4 of the field to be defended by too few players. sort of like getting a short-handed goal in hockey cuz the other team is only focused on offense and not thinking about protecting the net.

but how often does the opposing team score directly off YOUR corner kick? i'm no soccer fan, but i can't remember ever seeing that
