Had some peeps over and played some poker this evening...drinking and listening to an MP3 CD of Drive By Truckers...

It did not suck...

I actually won a little bit, we weren't playing for high stakes or anything, but it was a good time and we will certainly do it again....

i'm stuck in buffalo grove at the in laws. gonna be grillin and having some beers in a few hours so it's not all bad.

Hollywood Beach today...

One last trip to the apartment. All of my stuff is gone but I can still go in there all I want until the end of the month. Going to use the pool there one last time too.

I had two nightmares which woke me from a sound sleep. Decided to get up around seven to pull the weeds in my yard. Will bike to the Botanic/Botanical (I never remember which it is) Gardens later today.

I was in Indianapolis from Friday afternoon through last night for the race. We camp out in front of the track and live like gypsies for a few days. Mingle with the other campers and stupids that occupy that state. After spending the past few days talking with people that have no dental insurance, have difficulty putting a sentence in proper English together, and drink gin straight from the bottle I'm relaxing all day today.

Mostly listening to music and reading.

Well that's pretty exciting.

I think the Sox game is on WGN, so I'll probably take one of my rare opportunities to catch them out here.

Today doesn't really seem like a holiday to me. I went out and played softball yesterday and am now sore all over. I guess that means I should do it more often...

I'll probably just play video games.
