I can't remember how the first song goes. Second one goes "you want that sandwich, it's your decision, you want Old Style," or something like that.

. Just picked this up today in a bargain bin. Surprisingly good as tribute albums go.

Hey Rob (or anyone else who cares) what's your favorite Moody Blues record and why? or do they all sound the same? All I've heard is Days of Future Passed.

plastic you were so right

I'm glad you think so Sister. That album and Arve Henriksen's solo records are what made me follow Rune Grammofon as fervently as I do now. I love that label.

Kind of like "Horses Pt. II" but in a good way.

really enjoying this on vinyl, except for some reason sub pop decided to have the end tracking loop be this horrendous screeching noise instead of just a dead groove. still, california dreamer and this nice coffee is the best part of today so far

Ben Folds Five -- Ben Folds Five

Say what you will about Ben Folds' solo output, this album is still the moves. Really few songs can compete with the zaniness of 'Jackson Cannery' or 'Sports and Wine.' And nothing is really as gorgeous as 'Boxing.' It sounds just as amazing today as it did ten-plus years ago when I first heard it.

I was seriously obsessed with that record, once upon a time (along with the Solo-Concerts set).

I saw him perform once, with a trio (including Charlie Haden and Dewey Redman). He's completely insane, it turns out - actually cut the performance short because the audience applauded too much.

A band that calls itself Ahab would have to be pretty badass.
