New Fact mix isn't one of their best in my opinion. Never got interesting in the full hour and the flow wasn't smooth enough to compensate.
Very underrated record in the Pet Shop Boys canon. Don't think a melancholy take on nightlife/clublife has ever been done better, whole record is covered in insecurity and self doubt set amongst the absolutely banging house beats and typically gorgeous melodies. Couple of slower heartbreakers in there as well, "You Only Tell Me You Love Me When You're Drunk' the foremost of these, doesn't sound like anything else they ever recorded. Fuck knows how this band continue to be so under-appreciated.
