It came out.
It is good.
I stopped listening to the Wildhearts for 70 minutes.
Worth the wait? (Feels like I'm talking to one of those kids who took a virginity pledge or something.)

I'm not gonna be too official on it yet, on account of Neurosis albums take a while to break in, but I'm happy with it. Talk was of sounding like Enemy of the Sun and Through Silver in Blood, but it's more like Times of Grace to be honest. Like that's a bad thing. Anyway, one to listen to on its own merits. And hella loud. It really suffers when played quietly.

I don't have a new fave album ever or anything. wink.gif

Me, too--so you'll have another person's undying gratitude to look forward to if/when you have a chance to up it. I have to admit, though--I'm a little scared to hear the album. Grindcore is not for the faint of heart. I love Napalm Death, but I'm not always up to that level of brutality. And, from the sounds of it, PD hits pretty damn hard.

Edit: I see it's up in the metal thread--I'm both frightened and delighted.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the Auf Der Maur album (that's what it is, right? The UK sleeve is different) is the best QOTSA record since 2000. The last song is especially great. Seriously good song.
