The Good Dr Bill
Much as I hate to distract from the wunnerful goings-on in the Etc. forum this afternoon, I did say I'd get this started today, so I suppose the time has come.

So we got way more votes this time around, 46 compared to 33 from last time. We have almost enough for a top 500, but for the sake of my sanity I'm keeping it at 250. Before I start with that, do you guys want a small recap of 400 - 251 (without YSIs / info), or should I just start with #250? Up to you guys.
elc
All I want is everything.
Elemeno P.T.
Bill- your special...special......soo special.

Recap the whole thing.
KENAN THOMPSON
250 seems just right, i wouldn't worry about 400-251 until the end.
game on.
birdistheword
start at 250, and when it's over and people ask "Hey! What about ____? Why didn't that make the list?" then you can post the rest.

yeah, I'm thinking this might be best. I'll wait for a few other people to weigh in first, though.
elc
don't take my initial post to be a vote for listing more initially. I was just stating my long term goal. As far as how you go about it, I could go either way, but I'd say just start at 250 and post the rest later WITH ISY's of course.
no magnets
250 sounds like enough to keep me busy for long enough.
Slackmo
Start at 250. It'll keep people guessing about what did and didn't make the list.

uhhh maybe. We'll see how much time I have for this when the lists are done.
Mitchell
Post 300-251 in text form. Start at at 250 with the ysï and recap the rest at the end would be wot i fink.

all right, all fun aside, let's keep this kinda joking where it belongs, OK?
dano
Starting at 250 is cool with me.
Bobzilla
I too would enjoy the added suspense. Do the countdown from 250 until the finish, then post the also-rans (and I mean that in the most respectful, relative sense possible) after the top 250 is finished.

As excited as I am for this to be starting, this is a bad time for me to be stepping up my lurking.

Why don't you just edit it out, big man?

[but seriously, I have great respect for the work you do, but let's not get started on what parts of the site are joke-friendly. Jeebus.]

Seriously though, I have no shame in loving that song in particular, Sting's awful tendencies be damned.

Yeah, that would have been shocking. Great singles group.
