fuck! i can taste it.... where the hell did this come from? 7-11 is a block away. do i really go to the store just for a Dr Pepper craving?

Are you pregnant?

Thee Craving is back.

i never did pick up that 12 pack the other day. i did have some fountain cherry coke yesterday at lunch and it was crisp and delish, but still haven't had a DP since my craving the other nite.

Thanks a lot, assholes. Don't really drink pop, but after a massive sweet, sweet craving for a frosty can of Dr. Pepper I went to CVS and bought an 8-pack. Drank at least 3 since last night. SO TASTY :(

I've recently taken a liking to squeezing a lemon into Diet Coke. That was the plan for lunch today, but all the Diet Coke in the fridge was warm. There was a healthy supply of ice-cold Diet Dr Pepper though, so I took the plunge. The lemon added an interesting twist (heh), but it didn't really affect the overall taste one way or the other, especially compared to the massive change it produces in DC. In other words, the 23 flavors overpower all others.

With the album hitting shelves Sunday, Dr Pepper is making good on their word. Offer ends at 6PM on 11/24/2008.

Taste all 23 flavors - the Michael Jordan of drinks.

on a related note, some of us were getting food the other day and i ordered me a nice Mr. Pibb which then got me wondering what is the difference between Mr. Pibb and the popular Pibb Xtra that I see in stores.

Naturally, being that I was out, I had no choice but to text the wonderful phone service ChaCha to see if they could provide me with any answer. They succeeded in telling me that 'Mr. Pibb has died unfortunately. Pibb Xtra is his new name!' I was pleased with this answer.

God bless you, ChaCha.

Breaking News!!!

McD's adds Dr. Pepper to the menu!

Dr Pepper is available in 8,500 McDonald's outlets, but in the coming months will be rolled out to all of the company's 14,000 restaurants

By Mike Hughlett | Tribune reporter
10:23 AM CDT, April 27, 2009

Chicagoans with a penchant for Dr Pepper will soon be able to buy it at McDonald's, as the Oak Brook-based fast-food giant has added the soda to its national fountain lineup.

Dr Pepper is available in 8,500 McDonald's outlets, but in the coming months will be rolled out to all of the company's 14,000 restaurants. That means Dr Pepper will debut at McDonald's in a number of major markets, including Chicago, Los Angeles and Northern California.

The rollout is beginning now, but will take several months to complete, said Danya Proud, a McDonald's spokeswoman. It's not clear when the soda will be available at Chicago-area McDonald's restaurants.

Monday's announcement means Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. has cracked McDonald's "core" fountain beverage line-up, which is dominated by Coca-Cola Co. products, including Diet Coke, Sprite and Hi-C Orange.

To make room for Dr Pepper, McDonald's dumped Coke's Powerade. However, Powerade Mountain Blast and Coke's vitaminwater XXX (Triple X) will be available regionally at McDonald's in bottles.

Diet Dr Pepper will also likely be showing up more often at McDonald's. It's sold at 3,500 U.S. outlets, but now will be available as a regional option to McDonald's franchisees.

With the growing presence of Dr Pepper, McDonald's has dropped Coke's Mr. Pibb as a regional beverage, Proud said.

Dr. Pepper has been served at McDonald's for decades, but only in the past 10 years has its availability increased steadily, said Wayne Wittman, vice president of national accounts at Dr. Pepper Snapple.

"It's big," Wittman said of Dr. Pepper's national deal with McDonald's, though he declined to quantify its impact on his company's sales.

Poor Mr. Pibb. Another victim of these crappy times. I suppose he was no competition for Dr. Pepper considering his lack of a post graduate degree.

Every fast food place I have to eat at should have Coke Zero and/or diet Dr. Pepper. It should be mandated.

I can only ever find DDP in 8-can or 18-can packs. Screw that, seems like I've given up soda altogether. There's been an 18-pk in my trunk for a month--apparently I don't want it enough to take it inside & drink it sad.gif

arby's now has diet dr. pepper on tap.

They were handing out free 20 oz. bottles of the 125th Anniversary edition--"now with real sugar!" to everyone standing in line to see A Perfect Circle @ the Fillmore. For non-diet, it wasn't bad.

I like it. Me and the boy are on the second 12 packs in the past few weeks.

Couple of weeks ago I found a 12-pack of DDP in my storage locker and put some in the fridge. It wasn't too bad while ice-cold, but after a few minutes it tasted like I imagine dishwater would. That's when I checked its expiration date: August 2008.
